The 2017 Galderma SkinPact Awards launched at the Asian Dermatology Congress – Focus on Asia Pacific.
At Galderma, we believe in advancing dermatology through innovative medical solutions to people with health skin needs. One of the ways we achieve this is by partnering with healthcare professionals and scientific societies. The Galderma SKINPACT Awards are designed to encourage excellence in initiatives dedicated to improving skin health.
About the SKINPACT Awards
Following the success of the global launch of the SKINPACT Awards at the 2015 World Conference of Dermatology in Vancouver, the following four years will be focused on different regions starting with Latin America (LatAm) in 2016. The winning projects from LatAm are now posted below.
Timeline for AsiaPac - How does it work?
From 14 October 2016 – 15 February 2017: Dermatologists from Asia Pacific are invited to submit projects/initiatives in one of two categories; Community Leadership and Excellence in Education categories in the Galderma SKINPACT Awards website (http://www.galdermaskinpact.org/).
From 16 February 2017 – 10 April 2017: A distinguished Expert Panel of dermatologists from all corners of Asia Pacific will review, score and shortlist the projects (5 projects/category) and determine one project per category that will receive the Jury’s vote award.
From 18 April 2017 – 16 June 2017: The best 5 projects in each category will move on to the International Dermatology Community online voting to determine which projects will receive the Community’s vote award.
Each winning project (Jury vote & Community vote) in each category (4 projects in total) will be awarded 10,000 USD. This will give a considerable boost to many worthy initiatives like the ones that were shortlisted in 2015 and 2016.
