“I studied veterinary science in my home country, Mexico, and practiced as a vet for a year before joining Galderma Mexico in 1994 where I held different positions in sales and marketing. In 2002, I moved to Paris as Marketing Manager for Latin America. Since 2005, I’ve been Country Manager for Portugal, overseeing national operations and strategic development. I was given the opportunity in 2008 to also manage the prescription product portfolio for Spain where I was appointed Commercial Manager. I lived in Lisbon for several years, and  then moved to Madrid, an incredibly exciting city, to take up my new appointment.
 

I feel very much part of a team working toward well-defined goals. Galderma has a clear vision of where it’s going, which is important to me. Equally important is its strong commitment to developing the skills of everyone in the company. When I interview applicants, I tell them they will be given lots of work, but also lots of responsibility and team support. Professional development is key to the company’s commitment to its employees.
