IRELAND / EDUCATION

The Primary Care Dermatology Society of Ireland (PCDSI)

The Irish branch of the Primary Care Dermatology Society (PCDSI) was formed in 1996 and holds an annual spring meeting with a mixture of formal lectures and workshops on topics relating to dermatology in primary care. In Ireland, over 15% of all patients visits to their general practitioners, are Skin related.

Galderma encourages this initiative to share knowledge and increase skin disease awareness.

The benefit for physicians and the patients is a continuous education on skin diseases and learning about the treatments available to their patients. The PCDSI is attended by approximately 200 to 250 general practitioners from across Ireland.
