‘Stop wrinkles’ campaign and the online community

New media is emerging in the healthcare industry and Galderma wants to harness new technologies to empower the dermatological community and provide new ways to engage the public in skin health awareness programs.

An innovative online service to the medical professionals ‘Stop arrugas’ (Stop the wrinkles) allows physicians and dermatologists to follow training sessions and conferences from a distance, in their hospital, clinic, or even from home. It was implemented in January 2010 and provides video streaming as well as stand-alone meetings. A Social leaning platform has been launched with social networking functions.

The mission of this project is to embrace collaboration via social networking for the benefit of peers.

5,000 doctors are looking for up to date information on treatments.
