Galderma prides itself on working hand in hand with physicians to offer the best solutions and products to help achieve the goals of patients, and as a testament to this we are pleased to share with you news that the new Restylane® Skinboosters™ SmartClick™ delivery system has won the Red Dot Award for High Design Quality 2014.

The prestigious Red Dot design award, won by the Restylane Skinboosters SmartClick system, is a symbol of innovation and quality. The panel, consisting of 40 international design experts, look for the best achievements in international product design whilst staying true to the motto “In search of excellence”. Competing against over 1,800 international entrants the innovation with the SmartClick™ system was evident to the panel. The judges stated “The design of this injection device meets high ergonomic standards. The acoustic feedback increases safe use”.

Launched at the AMWC congress in Monaco in April 2014, the Restylane Skinboosters SmartClick system is an innovative tool to help physicians to administer product in an optimal way. As well as amends to the syringe itself, including a more comfortable finger grip and thumb rest and a tamper-proof seal, the SmartClick system has been introduced to give better control and predictability in the volume of Restylane Skinboosters delivered at each injection point. This allows physicians to focus on technique as they can see, feel and now hear the volume being injected.

The award is seen as a further extension of the innovation demonstrated by the Restylane brand over the past two decades.
