We believe in advancing dermatology through innovative medical solutions for people with skin health needs. One of the ways we do this is by inviting dermatologists and other doctors to submit project entries to the SKINPACT Awards. We then provide an element of financial support for the winning projects, giving a considerable boost to many worthy skin health initiatives.
Inspiring new dermatology initiatives
The first SKINPACT Awards were presented to the winning projects during the 2015 World Conference of Dermatology in Vancouver. Since then, the program has traveled across different regions of the world, in Latin America (2016), Asia Pacific (2017) and North America (2018). You can see the shortlisted and winning projects from 2015 to 2018 on the SKINPACT Awards website.
How does SKINPACT work?
PROJECT SUBMISSION: Dermatologists are invited to submit projects or initiatives in addressing unmet needs in one of two categories: Community Leadership and Excellence in Education on the Galderma SKINPACT Awards website.
EXPERT PANEL REVIEW & PRE-SELECTION: A distinguished Expert Panel of dermatologists review, rank and shortlist the projects (5 per category) and determine one per category for the Expert Panel Award. The expert panel is made up of renowned dermatologists.
WORLDWIDE COMMUNITY VOTING: The five (5) highest ranked projects in each category are then shared with the International Dermatology Community online vote to determine which of them will receive the Community Vote Award.
WINNING PROJECTS AWARDED: Each winning project (Expert Panel & Community Vote) in each category (4 in total) are awarded $10,000 USD.
