INVESTIGATOR-INITIATED STUDIES

 

GLLP recognizes the importance of supporting Investigator-Initiated Studies (IISs) that have the potential to improve patient outcomes, advance medical and scientific knowledge about our products as well as generate promising medical advancements. Results of such research may lead to greater understanding of our therapies and their potential applications, improved patient care and provide new ideas for further research.

 

GLLP accepts unsolicited requests for IISs from academic and community based clinician-scientists who are interested in conducting their own research. Support is awarded based on the scientific merit of each submitted proposal, investigator qualifications, study budget, alignment with GLLP objectives, and site feasibility as reviewed through a formal IIS review process. GLLP may provide financial support, study product, or a combination of both; however, GLLP is not the study sponsor and assumes no sponsor obligations.

INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EDUCATION

 

GLLP recognizes the importance of supporting accredited and non-accredited independent medical education (IME) activities for healthcare professionals to increase their knowledge and skills to better address patients’ dermatologic and skin health needs. Results of such activities may lead to greater understanding of the therapeutic areas that we treat, our products and their potential applications, as well as improved patient care.

 

GLLP accepts unsolicited requests from organizations who are interested in conducting their own accredited or non-accredited, independent, medical education activities. Support is awarded based on the identified need for the activity, target audience, stated learning objectives and educational merit, proposed outcomes, activity budget, and alignment with GLLP areas of interest as reviewed through a formal IME review process. GLLP may provide financial and/or in-kind product grants; however, no further assistance will be provided, including the distribution of invitations for an IME activity or program.

RESIDENCY PROGRAM AESTHETIC PRODUCT TRAINING

 

GLLP recognizes the importance of supporting residency programs that provide formal and structured on-label injection trainings involving our portfolio of aesthetic injectable products. Results of such activities may lead to greater understanding of the therapeutic areas that we treat, our products and their potential applications, as well as improved patient care.

 

GLLP accepts unsolicited requests for in-kind product grants from Residency Program Directors at ACGME-accredited dermatology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, or otolaryngology academic institutions who are interested in conducting their own on-label injection trainings.

SPONSORSHIPS, EXHIBIT REQUESTS, AND CORPORATE DONATIONS 

 

GLLP recognizes the importance of supporting educational and professional activities of recognized medical associations, societies, institutions, academies, congresses, and other similar organizations by providing corporate sponsorships. 

 

GLLP accepts unsolicited requests from organizations who are seeking commercial support through meeting sponsorships and/or tradeshow exhibit fees at scientific and industry meetings, as well as requests for corporate donations via funding or consumer products.

 

To submit a request for a commercial sponsorship and/or an exhibit fee for an industry meeting, please send an invitation letter with details on your program, your most recent W9, and your sponsor/exhibitor prospectus (if available) to: galderma.sponsorships@galderma.com.

Our funding review and approval process is in accordance with the recommendations and the guidance of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Guidelines, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, the PhRMA Code on Interaction with Health Care Professionals, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Providers, the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (PPSA), as well as internal GLLP policies.
