Making an impact
At Galderma, we encourage people to try new things, take risks, do things differently and really push themselves.
At Galderma, we encourage people to try new things, take risks, do things differently and really push themselves. Our premium products and services are the product of continued investment in scientific research and a culture where all team members are empowered to meet any challenge to deliver outstanding results.
“The thing that makes Galderma different is the spirit of possibility,” says Tori Brounoff, Talent Management Lead at Galderma U.S. “You hear it described as innovation or as a kind of experimental or entrepreneurial mindset. It is alive and real in what we do in Galderma.”
Embodying the spirit of possibility
Galderma’s ambition is to become the leading dermatology company in the world, and our people have similarly bold ambitions. We are always in pursuit of new and disruptive solutions to complex challenges. And in each of our sites across the globe, the environment is designed to make the most of our people’s capabilities and create opportunities for them to grow into new areas of expertise.
“The people that I work with are professionals of the absolute highest caliber, who can accomplish any challenge in front of them,” says Tori. “You've got other people there to help support you and that collaborative environment really is the key to our culture here at Galderma.”
Sentiments like Tori’s are shared among members of the Galderma team across the globe. Our offices and sites are abuzz with the anticipation of the next breakthrough. At the heart of that environment lies the belief that anything is possible – we’ll do everything we can to meet the needs of patients and consumers.
Innovation through collaboration
Elías Cid Pérez is a Regional CRM Coordinator at Galderma in São Paulo. He explains that innovation at Galderma is about identifying an area of need and applying your talents to reach a solution. “You have to be the kind of person who enjoys coming up with new proposals to solve existing problems in your environment – problems that we can do something about.”
For our teams, there is no such thing as a bad idea. We approach challenges by studying all possible angles and welcome every perspective that can propel us toward the best outcome. Our ideas come to fruition through collaboration, a pillar that defines our environment.
As Lisa Thulin, Senior Microbiologist at Galderma in Uppsala, Sweden, explains, “We always work as a group to achieve a common goal and I really love that way of working – and that feeling that you are part of something bigger.”
The pace at Galderma requires a commitment to upholding high standards through creative thinking. Lisa’s role enables her to explore possibilities while getting support and knowledge from her coworkers. This encouragement to grow and think creatively is a pivotal source of inspiration. As she says, “If you want to evolve and advance, then you can’t get stuck thinking the same things over and over.”
Superior standards equal superior outcomes
Our 40+ year heritage in dermatology and focus on science-based innovation attract the world’s sharpest thinkers. “Working at Galderma, it’s a culture that requires you to bring your best, but that also allows you to expect the best of others,” says Tori. High-performing individuals at Galderma are oriented toward impactful results and surrounded by team members who contribute to their momentum.
What drives our momentum is our shared purpose, Advancing dermatology for every skin story. Each day, we start with the same question: how can I make a difference for consumers, patients, and healthcare professionals through their work? Not only does this attitude produce superior outcomes for the people we serve, but it drives our people to take pride in their work.
“A lot of companies today are simply focused on developing products to make as much profit as they can. But Galderma is all about the benefit for its patients and customers, advancing their skin stories.” says Elías.
We take our responsibility to do right by our stakeholders seriously. Lisa’s role is integral to this purpose. She says, “As a microbiologist, my focus is, of course, on delivering safe products to patients. For me, this really means helping my customers.” Every piece of our collaborative machine at Galderma runs on the desire to make a difference in the lives of those we work with.
Our strong foundation is our team
Big ideas call for big action – and our teams come together to contribute to visions that are beyond the scope of any one individual. A role at Galderma is an opportunity to be a part of a journey that will help to achieve our ambition – and yours.
