Michael Bauer joined EQT Partners in 2009 and is currently a partner, head of EQT's private equity Switzerland team and global co-head of EQT's healthcare sector team. Prior to joining EQT Partners, Michael worked as Investment Director at Capvis in Zurich (2003 to 2009) and in the M&A team at Credit Suisse in London (2002-2003).
Mr. Bauer currently serves on the boards of SPT Labtech via holding company Seaport Topco Limited, Viturin AG, EQT Partners AG and is a member of the advisory committee to the board of Dechra Pharmaceuticals. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
