LUIGI LA CORTE
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Luigi La Corte was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Galderma effective May 1, 2026. He brings more than 30 years of international financial leadership experience across healthcare and consumer businesses.
Before joining Galderma, Luigi served as Chief Financial Officer of Recordati S.p.A. from 2019 to 2025, where he was responsible for Group Finance, Investor Relations, Sustainability and Information Systems. He was appointed to Recordati’s Board of Directors in 2022 and continues to hold this position.
Earlier in his career, Luigi held a range of senior finance leadership roles in the pharmaceutical sector, including positions at GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Alliance Unichem. He also served as Chief Financial Officer at Pladis Food Group, and previously worked at Bain & Company, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.
Luigi is an Italian national and holds a Master in Economics from Luiss University (Rome). He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
