November 15, 2018 - At Nestlé Skin Health, our vision is to change the way the world thinks about skin health.  One of the ways our employees contribute to that effort is by engaging with the dermatology community via the Galderma SKINPACT Awards initiative. Since 2015, we have given dermatologists an opportunity to submit their solutions to an unmet need, have them compete for one of four awards and share their progress and best practices worldwide. The end goal is to promote excellence in initiatives dedicated to support a sustainable dermatology community. 

Starting today and until 15 January 2019, the International Dermatology Community is invited to vote for their preferred shortlisted projects in both the Excellence in Education and Community Leadership categories.  The International Dermatology Community is defined as the dermatology healthcare professional community (dermatologists, doctors / physicians, nurses, health workers or medical students, and dermatological residents) having medical and educational activities dedicated towards patients needing dermatological care and their caregivers. Leaders of dermatology patient associations are also invited to vote for their preferred projects.

North America (Canada & USA) is the focus region for the 2018 edition of the SKINPACT Awards.  We are grateful to our 2018 partners; the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS), the Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) and the team of 20 Expert Panelists from these organizations who helped raise awareness and assumed the difficult task of evaluating and shortlisting from all the great project applications that were submitted.

Each winning project in each category will be awarded $ 10,000 USD (Expert Panel Award & Community Vote Award) (4 projects in total).  This will give a considerable boost to many worthy initiatives.  We thank all project teams that have submitted an application.  May the best projects win!
