We aim to make an impact on the lives of consumers by providing innovative and effective medical aesthetic solutions. We offer treatments, services and education to our customers, enabling them to help their clients achieve optimal results that enhance their skin and meet their individual needs.
We have a long history of innovation in Injectable Aesthetics with deep expertise in hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, neuromodulators and biostimulators. Already established as the leading pure-play dermatology company, we are continuing to expand our portfolio of premium brands recommended by healthcare professionals – including Dysport®, Alluzience®, Restylane® and Sculptra®, as well as RelfydessTM, the first and only ready-to-use liquid neuromodulator created with PEARLTM Technology.
DERMATOLOGICAL SKINCARE
The Dermatological Skincare market segment comprises branded health and beauty products backed by science. Our flagship brands, Cetaphil® and Alastin®, offer science-based, dermatologist-recommended skincare solutions that hold leading market positions.
Today’s consumers pay close attention to their skincare needs in response to changing lifestyles and increasing concerns about the effects of pollution, stress, UV damage, allergies and aging skin.
In our Dermatological Skincare product category, our aim is to provide consumers with innovative, science-based treatments to maintain healthy skin throughout their lives. From formulations and packaging to therapeutic areas and channels, we are always looking for ways to innovate. In this way, we can continue to provide brands and services that meet people’s evolving skin needs.
OUR DERMATOLOGICAL SKINCARE BRANDS
Our top Dermatological Skincare brand is Cetaphil. With its wide range of skincare products for all ages and focus on sensitive skin, Cetaphil reached the 1 billion USD net sales mark in 2023 for the first time in its history, and continues to deliver strong growth thanks to continuous line expansions and omnichannel engagement with consumers, including innovative campaigns that reach billions of consumers worldwide. Alastin is the fastest growing brand in the physician-dispensed sub-segment. It offers a range of innovative, clinically tested skincare products that correct, protect and maintain healthy skin for a lifetime. The brand forms a key part of our portfolio by working synergistically with products from our Injectable Aesthetics portfolio.
THERAPEUTIC DERMATOLOGY
The Therapeutic Dermatology market segment encompasses prescription treatments that target moderate to severe skin conditions, from acne to skin cancer.
Galderma maintains a broad portfolio and a commitment to developing new therapies in diverse disease areas with unmet medical needs. We hold leading positions in acne, rosacea and non-melanoma skin cancer treatments, and have further strengthened our Therapeutic Dermatology portfolio by launching to market Nemluvio® (nemolizumab), the first and only biologic to directly target interleukin-31 receptor alpha.
Nemolizumab was approved in August 2024 by the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) for the treatment of adults with prurigo nodularis. In December 2024, it was also approved by the U.S. FDA for the treatment of patients 12 years and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, in combination with topical corticosteroids and/or calcineurin inhibitors when the disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies. To date, nemolizumab is approved for both moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis by multiple regulatory authorities around the world, including in the European Union, Australia, Brazil, Singapore, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Additional regulatory submissions and reviews are ongoing.
INNOVATION
We have developed a best-in-class pipeline and a track record of first-to-market innovation. Continuous innovation is key as we work toward our bold ambition to become a true dermatology powerhouse.
Our R&D teams work relentlessly—with a focus on biotechnologies for injectable and oral products—to help ensure we meet individual consumer and patient needs, with superior outcomes.
In June 2025, Galderma announced the initiation of two new clinical trials to investigate the efficacy and safety of nemolizumab in treating patients living with Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) and Chronic Pruritus of Unknown Origin (CPUO) – two chronic conditions with high unmet need.
